The top of the year: a look at the first three quarters of 2014

Every year, lists of all sorts come out ranking the top this and that of this and that. Some of the most popular lists are Time magazine’s Time100; Forbes magazine’s lists of the most powerful celebrities, companies and richest Americans; People magazine’s “most beautiful” and “sexiest man alive,” Billboard’s top 100; and so forth.

This year, Institutional Real Estate, Inc., and FundTracker have decided to do a list of top funds of the year as we wait for the final numbers for fourth quarter to close out the year.

The lists compile funds into categories including market focus, product style and property type.
