New Fund Targets Solar Park Investments

by

Palmer Capital, a pan-European real estate fund manager, and UK-based Low Carbon have formed a fund that will invest in UK solar parks. UK Solar Income Partnership is targeting £52 million (€61 million) from institutional investors.

The fund will acquire three existing solar parks from Low Carbon, which are located in Kilkhampton, Hayle and St Austell in Cornwall. All three are operational 5MW solar parks. In addition, the fund has an option to acquire a fourth solar park in Cornwall, which would give it four of the 12 operational solar parks in the United Kingdom.
