Rockspring Makes UK Acquisitions

Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP has acquired a five-property portfolio of UK office buildings for £47.78 million (€54.1 million) on behalf of the UK Value Fund. The properties, which total approximately 23,500 square metres of space in the south-east of England, were sold by St Martins.

The five-property portfolio includes the 5,760-square-metre Gateway in Richmond; the 2,230-square-metre Oriel House in Richmond; the 9,475-square-metre Kings House and Conquest House in Kingston-Upon-Thames; the 1,670-square-metre Hays House in Guildford; and the 4,365-square-metre Overline House in Crawley.

In other news, Rockspring has made its first acquisition on behalf of NPS European Property LP, Rockspring’s pan-European discretionary mandate from South Korea’s National Pension Service, which has an acquisition capacity of €900 million. Rockspring has purchased 63 St Mary’s Axe in London, a 6,700-square-metre office property, from Threadneedle for £23.75 m
