Henderson Global Investors has acquired two Thornfield entities from administrators for an undisclosed amount. The entities, Thornfield Properties (Winchester) Ltd and Thornfield Properties (Winchester) No 2 Ltd, were engaged in the development of the 55,700-square-metre Silver Hill scheme in Winchester, United Kingdom.

The Silver Hill scheme covers roughly one-quarter of Winchester, and is expected to comprise 8,800 square metres of retail space, including 2,300 square metres of foodstore, 1,700 square metres of office space, a 1,000-square-metre medical centre, 207 private residential units and 100 affordable residential units, as well as more than 500 parking spaces.
