What is the history and mission of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea?

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea was formed in 1986 as a trade organization representing the interests of the E.U. business community in South Korea. With initial financial support from the European Commission, the European Economic Community Business Group in Korea was formed, with Walter Cozijnsen of ABN AMRO Bank as its first president.
