Every year in January, Institutional Real Estate, Inc holds its annual CEO Sponsor Briefing event where we meet with our publication sponsors to present and discuss the preliminary results of our annual investor survey. We have been conducting this survey together with Kingsley Associates for 18 years, and this year’s release, Global Annual Institutional Investor Survey, is the first time we included investors outside the United States. The survey is forward looking and comes from investors’ plans for the coming year. We also use the previous year’s actual data to compare what investors actually did in the previous year vis-à-vis what they had said they planned to do in the prior year’s survey.
