Food for thought: Questions for the annual Editorial Advisory Board meeting

Asia Pacific institutional investors, along with real estate consultants, investment managers and fund of funds managers — some of which sponsor this publication — met at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo on 28–30 October for our seventh annual Editorial Advisory Board meeting for The Institutional Real Estate Letter – Asia Pacific.

Participants were able to network, build stronger relationships and establish new ones over meals, coffee breaks, cocktail parties and entertaining group activities. But the main purpose and most important aspect of the meeting was its confidential, formal discussion sessions. These sessions are based on the most pressing concerns being tackled by the board members, which we compile from them in advance in the form of “food for thought” topics. This is distributed to all participants prior to the meeting, so they can prepare to engage in more prolific discussions, in both small groups and as a whole.
