First Reserve Closes Energy Infrastructure Fund

Global energy and natural resources investor First Reserve Corp. has closed its energy infrastructure fund, First Reserve Energy Infrastructure Fund LP, with more than $1.2 billion. The fund’s infrastructure investments will target long-lived assets in three areas of the energy sector: contracted midstream, which includes pipelines, storage and LNG facilities; contracted power, which includes renewable generation and conventional generation; and regulated transmission and distribution, which includes electric and gas utilities.
