Brookfield Infrastructure Partners completed its $1.7 billion merger with Prime Infrastructure. Brookfield Infrastructure is now a global company that owns and operates utilities, transport, energy and timber assets on five continents with a current market capitalization in excess of $3 billion.
Brookfield also has appointed four new directors: Jeffrey Blidner, a senior managing partner with Brookfield Asset Management; David Hamill, a director and chairman of Prime Infrastructure; Lou Maroun; and Lars Rodert.
