SUSI holds €380m final close for renewable energy fund

SUSI Partners AG has held a final close for its SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II, raising €380 million ($426 million) in equity commitments.With the closing, SUSI REII can invest in projects amounting to an expected total volume of €1 billion ($1.1 billion).

The fund’s portfolio consist of investments of more than €115 million ($129 million) in 14 wind and solar farms, in Germany, France, Finland, United Kingdom, Portugal and Italy, delivering a total output of more than 201 megawatts of clean energy. Assets include a 15-megawatts wind farm in France and a 2-megawatt (peak) solar plant in Italy. The fund plans to invest further in solar and wind projects during its 30-month investment period.

SUSI REII succeeds SUSI Renewable Energy Fund I, which is fully invested in 12 solar and wind farms with a total volume of €200 million ($224million).
