Stockbridge Capital Group holds final close

Stockbridge Capital Group has announced the final close of its second fund, Stockbridge Value Fund II, raising  $320 million in capital commitments after its 2014 launch date.

Stockbridge Value Fund II targets office, industrial, multifamily and retail investments that Stockbridge believes are undervalued, underutilized or otherwise not operating at full potential. These investments present the opportunity to add value through active management strategies, including additional capital investment, leasing, recapitalization and renovations. With leverage, the fund will have $600 million to $700 million in buying power, and to date the fund has closed on 10 investments and currently has four additional investments under contract.

Stockbridge Value Fund I closed in 2012 with capital commitments of $220 million. The fund targeted office, industrial, retail and multifamily real estate investments in major U.S. markets.
