Southwest fund raises $296m

Southwest Value Partners Fund XVII has held a final close. The fund, managed by Southwest Value Partners, raised $296.4 million.

The fund launched in January of this year, taking only four months to reach its fundraising goal.

Southwest Value Partners’ previous fund closed in late 2014, raising $170.4 million. Fund XVI mainly focused on hotel, multifamily, and office property investments. Fund XV raised $133.5 million in 2010.

Based in San Diego, Southwest Value Partners was founded in 1990. The firm focuses on office, hospitality, multifamily, and residential and commercial land investments.
