Seoul logistics offers best investment opportunity in South Korea

Investors who attended the ANREV Korea Conference 2017 on Feb. 15 hold a positive view of the unlisted real estate market in Asia Pacific and intend to increase their investments in the region over the next five years, according to a survey of conference attendees.

The participants of the annual event believe the logistics sector in Seoul, on the basis of a five-year hold, presents the most attractive investment opportunity in South Korea. Outside of the country, delegates were evenly split on their top choices for investment in Asia Pacific real estate between Tokyo and Sydney.

On a global scale, surveyed attendees expect to deploy capital fairly evenly between Asia (35 percent), the United States (32 percent) and Europe (29 percent) in 2017, and very few intend to invest in London (4 percent).
