NFI-ODCE preliminary data continues upward trend

Preliminary data indicates core, open-end real estate funds had a total return before fees of 3.82 percent in second quarter 2015, up from 3.39 percent in the previous quarter, according to the NCREIF Fund Index-ODCE Preliminary Snapshot Report.

The National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries has released its preliminary snapshot results for the NFI-ODCE, which tracks at 33 open-end commingled funds pursuing a core investment strategy.

Income returns have increased slightly to 1.19 percent from 1.18 percent in the first quarter. Appreciation has also increased to 2.62 percent from 2.2 percent in the previous quarter. The final NFI-ODCE numbers will be released July 30.
