The $14.5 billion New Mexico Public Employees Retirement Association has committed $65 million to Carlyle Power Partners II, according to recent meeting documents.

The energy fund, managed by The Carlyle Group, had raised more than $839 million as of August 2015, according to a filing with the SEC.
