The Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana has hired two investment consultants, according to Lisa Honoré, public information director. The pension fund kept Aon Hewitt as its defined benefit consultant and hired Mercer Investment Consulting as its defined contribution consultant.
The search, which launched in July, was for a general investment consultant for its $17 billion defined benefit plan and $1.8 billion defined contribution plan. The three finalists were Meketa Investment Group, Mercer Investment Consulting and the incumbent, Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting.
