Industry executive joins Boston boutique

After three years with Parmenter Realty Partners, Timothy Shine has decided to join Boston-based boutique firm Shine Associates, which specializes in real estate executive search. At Shine Associates, he will be responsible for new business development and executing senior searches on a national basis.

Shine Associates was founded by Hillary Shine in 2012. The organization focuses exclusively on senior talent in the commercial real estate industry. Shine Associates partners with its clients to provide targeted search services, competitive compensation data and share industry best practices. In addition to Boston, current clients are located throughout the United States, including Chicago, Los Angeles New York City, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Parmenter, Timothy Shine was a managing director at Commonfund Realty for 11 years. He was also a managing director and partner at CBRE Investors/TCW for 11 years. He left the firm in 1998 as its managing director of client services.
