The $29.9 billion Indiana Public Retirement System has committed $75 million to Harrison Street Real Estate Capital.
Harrison Street Real Estate Partners V closed in January, exceeding its $750 million original equity target and reaching its $850 million hard cap goal. Fund V will invest in student housing, senior housing, medical office/healthcare properties and self-storage properties, largely on a single-asset acquisition or development basis.
Indiana has invested in previous Harrison funds, the open-ended commingled fund Harrison Street Core Property Fund and Harrison Street Real Estate Partners IV, which closed with $750 million in July 2013.
