Equus Capital Partners fund exceeds $300m target

Equus Capital Partners has announced its final close of the firm’s 12th discretionary, commingled value-added real estate fund, Equus Investment Partnership X, with $361 million, exceeding the equity fundraising target of $300 million.

Fund X targets high-quality properties in vibrant employment centers across major markets in the United States, which generate current cash flow while providing opportunity for capital appreciation.

Fund X will leverage its value-added direct operating model across a broad range of real estate in the United States, including office, multifamily, industrial and retail. The fund has attracted a diversified investor base, mostly from existing investors, including pension funds, endowments, foundations, Taft-Hartley plans and high-net-worth individuals.

Fund X is currently 5 percent invested across 11 investments in the office, multifamily and lab/R&D sectors. The properties are located throughout the United State
