Asana Partners holds $500m final close

Asana Partners has announced the final close for its Asana Partners Fund I with $500 million in equity commitments, achieving its hard cap.

Asana Partners Fund I launched in August 2016.

The fund received commitments from a diverse set of investors, including some of the nation’s leading state pension funds, municipal pension funds, corporate pension funds, insurance companies and endowments.

The fund is targeting a range of retail real estate investment opportunities in high-growth urban and infill neighborhood locations in the United States. Approximately 25 percent of the fund’s equity commitments already have been invested in or committed to attractive neighborhood retail properties in Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, and Washington, D.C.
