Senior Account Executive
Institutional Real Estate, Inc.
San Ramonbased publishing and consulting firm is
seeking a senior account executive
to work under the company's CEO developing new client
relationships while helping service existing clients. This
could be an excellent opportunity
for the right person to grow into a senior management position
in future years. Individual should have strong communication
and selling skills with a solid understanding of the institutional
real estate
marketplace. Candidates must be willing to do extensive
travel globally.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Work with CEO, account executives and sponsor
services staff to
develop and execute when approved the annual Sponsor Sales
and Servicing Plan and Budget.
- Work directly with CEO and
other account executives in planning, organizing,
directing, controlling and coordinating all aspects of
marketing and customer service operations,
including sponsor sales, sponsor servicing, sponsor retention and consulting services.
- Prepare for, attend, participate in and contribute
to the success of annual sponsor briefings
and annual editorial advisory board meetings for all sponsorship-supported
publications.
- Speak at company events as directed.
- Conduct sales calls and customer service calls
via telephone and face-to-face in support of the goals
and objectives outlined in the annual Sponsor Sales and
Servicing Plan.
- Conduct Sponsor Interviews, as directed.
- Complete client/contact notes to document
all client communication according to the company client/contact
note procedures.
- Complete time slips for all services delivered,
where appropriate
Candidates should have at least 10 years of marketing/sales
experience in a commercial real estate investment environment.
Individuals should be skilled at networking within our
industry and feel comfortable speaking in front of an
audience. They should have solid understanding of real
estate finance with good analytical skills. Candidates
should have excellent customer
service, communication and office interpersonal skills.
A strong work ethic with organized and detail-oriented
approach to tasks is a must.
Position is full-time, permanent and is available immediately.
Benefits
(Aetna PPO, 401K, profit sharing) are competitive with
the industry. Salary includes base plus variable.
