Palmer Acquires Dutch Fund Manager

by

Palmer Capital has taken control of 100 percent of Middle Europe Investments (MEI), a Dutch fund manager with €232 million of assets under management in central and eastern Europe. MEI owns a portfolio of commercial assets spread across Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Romania, Russia and Slovakia.

The acquisition provides Palmer Capital, which is based in London and Munich, with an expanded European platform. MEI’s nine funds and 25 staff will be incorporated into the Palmer Capital group.

“This establishes Palmer Capital as one of the top central and eastern European real estate fund managers with a leading asset management platform in the region and capital to invest,” says Ray Palmer, chairman of Palmer Capital.
