InfraRed Capital Partners Acquires German Logistics

InfraRed Capital Partners (IRCP) has purchased a 51,000-square-metre logistics unit in Frankfurt. The property is leased to the Simon Hegele Gesellschaft für Logistik und Service GmbH on a 15-year lease. The unit is presently being built and is expected to be completed in January 2012.

“This is the fourth transaction in the German logistics sector for InfraRed in the past year after earlier investments in Hamburg and Munich,” says Joram Szerkowski, responsible for deal origination in Germany at InfraRed Capital Partners. “With this deal we continue our strategy of acquiring well-located logistics units in Germany, both for our value-added strategy as well as pursuing core investments for separate accounts.”
