UK Commercial Property Trust (UKCPT) has acquired a UK retail property for £49.9 million (€59 million) from a fund managed by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. The property, St George’s Retail Park in Leicester, comprises 15,368 square metres and 522 parking spaces. Rents total approximately £3.1 million (€3.7 million) per year, and retailers include Aldi, Brantano, Comet, Currys, KFC, Mothercare, Next, PC World, Pets at Home, Toys ’R Us and Wickes.
