Grosvenor Asia Pacific Ltd. Acquires Luxury Apartment Complex in Tokyo

Grosvenor Asia Pacific Ltd. has acquired the The Mark Minami-Azabu, a luxury apartment complex in Tokyo. The seller and price were not disclosed.

Built in 2008, the four-story, 11-unit property comprises 1,950 square meters and was constructed on the former site of the training center of Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co. Ltd. The building is located in Minami Azabu, an area particularly well suited to expatriates stationed in Japan, with the Arisugawa-no-miya Memorial Park and numerous foreign embassies, international schools and supermarkets all situated nearby.

The acquisition is part of Grosvenor’s strategy to grow its portfolio of core assets in Japan and Greater China, and complements the expansion of its luxury residential development program, to which
