Current Issues: Investors Found a Lot to Talk About at Our Recent Editorial Board Meeting

Under the current uncertain economic conditions, institutional investors face innumerable challenges in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities, having to invest billions of dollars on behalf of pension plan members. While that’s no easy task, it does help to share concerns, opinions and insights with your peers in the industry in order to make the most informed decisions.

In early September, representatives from more than 30 U.S. pension plan sponsors, foundations, endowments, family offices and other institutional investors, along with more than 40 investment managers, investment bankers and consulting firms who sponsor our publications, met at The Grand Del Mar in San Diego for our annual Fall Editorial Advisory Board meeting for The Institutional Real Estate Letter – North America. At the meeting, the attendees discussed a variety of issues.
