University commits $50m to Westbrook fund

The $10.2 billion University of Michigan has committed $50 million to Westbrook Real Estate Fund X, according to recent meeting documents.

The value-added fund, managed by Westbrook Partners, is looking to raise $2.5 billion, with leverage below 50 percent. It will invest in Western Europe, the United States and Japan.
