The joint venture between Global Student Accommodation Group and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital has plans to create Dublin’s largest student accommodation property to house almost 500 students.
The joint venture has acquired the former IDA site at Gardiner Street in Dublin and will invest a total of €60 million ($66 million) in the site to create a seven-story building of student accommodation. In addition, the partnership revealed plans for the first development of the joint venture, a 400-bedroom development in Mill Street in Dublin.
The investment is part of GSA and Harrison Street’s commitment to invest €250 million ($276million) in student accommodation in Dublin.
