Two pension funds commit to Crow Holdings

The $16.8 billion Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana and the $29.6 billion Connecticut Retirement Plan and Trust Funds are investing in Crow Holdings Realty Fund VII, according to board meeting documents.

Connecticut is considering a $100 million commitment to the value-added real estate fund, while Louisiana has approved a $50 million commitment.

Crow Holdings Realty Fund VII, managed by Crow Holding Capital Partners, is seeking up to $1.5 billion in equity commitments and has raised more than $600 million as of the end of May. The fund targets multifamily, retail and industrial properties.
