Below is a sampling of recent property transactions tracked by Real Capital Analytics. The largest transactions are a retail property in New York City and an apartment complex in Maryland.
The 250,000 square-foot retail condominium at the Times Tower, located at 217 W. 43rd St. in Manhattan, was sold to Kushner Cos. for $296 million. The seller was Five Mile Capital and Africa Israel Group’s subsidiary Africa-Israel USA. The property, known as The New York Times Building, was The Times headquarters from 1913 through 2007.
And in southern Maryland, the 747-unit Orchard Pond sold for $108 million to Harbor Group International. The property is located in Gaithersburg, Md., a suburb of Washington, D.C.
