Recent commercial real estate transactions

Below is a sampling of recent property transactions. The largest transaction was an office property in Seattle.

An office building occupied by Amazon in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood has sold for $268.9 million in one of the priciest sales the region has seen. Schnitzer West developed the Urban Union office building. The new owners are TriStar Capital and RFR Holding, two New York City–based investment firms.

The acquisition follows the $276 million sale of KOMO Plaza, which was purchased by GI Partners’ TechCore from Hines Global REIT, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hines Global REIT Properties.
