Prelios launches Italian logistics fund

by Zoë Wolff

Prelios has launched a new real estate fund, Fondo Logita, according to a statement.

The fund will focus on “next generation logistics properties” throughout Italy. The real estate investment manager has acquired a portfolio of three assets for €75 million ($83.9 million) for the fund.

The fund’s investment plan is to eventually own a €350 million ($391.7 million) portfolio of newly constructed properties.

“It will focus, for the most part, on next generation logistic centers, state-of-the-art assets featuring integrated services tied to logistics, equipped with high-level facilities and security systems,” Andrea Cornetti, general manager in charge of business at Prelios, said in a statement.

Earlier this year, Prelios launched a German retail fund.
