Newcore launches second U.K. real estate fund

U.K.-based alternative real estate investment manager Newcore Capital Management has launched Newcore Strategic Situations II, according to a statement.

The opportunistic fund is seeking to raise £25 million ($36.5 million) to invest in real estate assets linked to social infrastructure, storage and accommodation in the United Kingdom. The fund is targeting 14 percent to 16 percent returns.

Newcore will invest 20 percent of the fund in the acquisition of a healthcare and judicial building in southwest London.
