New York REIT has purchased Twitter's headquarters in Manhattan located at 245–249 W. 17th St. in the Chelsea neighborhood. The official announcement does not disclose a sales price; however, the property reportedly sold for approximately $335 million.
The property, which includes a 12-story office tower and an adjacent six-story mixed-use building, contains approximately 282,000 rentable square feet. In addition to Twitter, Room & Board and Flywheel Sports occupy the retail portion of the building.
