The Montana Board of Investments has invested $10 million each into two value-added funds, Stockbridge Value Fund II and CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 7, according to materials prepared for the Feb. 24 and Feb. 25 board meeting. Both were follow-on investments in the fund series.

The board of investments previously committed $25 million to the Stockbridge Capital Group fund and $15 million to the CBRE Global Investors fund in 2014.

The board oversees nine pension funds with a total of $9.8 billion in assets. As of Jan. 31, the pension funds’ current allocation to real estate is 8.9 percent.
