by Zoë Wolff

The $717 million Worcester (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for an infrastructure manager to run $10 million to $15 million.

The pension fund is seeking only experienced managers of private market infrastructure portfolios, according to an RFP posted on the website of the Meketa Investment Group, the pension fund’s investment consultant.

Proposals must come from managers that have been in operation for at least five years and have managed one or more global infrastructure strategies with total equity capital of at least $5 billion. First-time funds, public equity and sector-specific strategies will not be considered.

Proposals are due on Dec. 9. A decision date was not disclosed.
