Louisiana Teachers commits $50m to infrastructure

The $16 billion Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana has committed $50 million to Global Infrastructure Partners III, according to recent meeting documents.

Global Infrastructure Partners III, managed by Global Infrastructure Partners, will invest in large-scale infrastructure assets globally. The fund is seeking to raise up to $15 billion and has recently received commitments from the Maine Public Employees Retirement System, the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, the Washington State Investment Board and the El Paso Firemen & Policemen’s Pension Fund.

TRSL has a 3 percent target and actual allocation to infrastructure.
