Louisiana commits $75m to energy fund

The Louisiana State Employees’ Retirement System has committed $75 million to ArcLight Energy Partners Fund VI, according to recent meeting documents.

The energy infrastructure fund focuses on North American midstream and power assets, and has raised more than $4 billion since it opened in August 2014.

Since the start of 2015, the fund has attracted investors such as the $9.8 billion Montana Board of Investments.

This is the $10.9 billion Louisiana State Employees’ Retirement System’s first commitment a fund managed by ArcLight Capital Management.
