Kennedy Wilson buys U.K. portfolio for £211m

Kennedy Wilson Europe Real Estate has completed the acquisition of nine office properties in southeast England from an entity affiliated with Apollo Global Management and M&M Asset Management for £211 million ($329 million).

The nine modern office buildings comprise 814,700 square feet of leasable space and are 98.6 percent occupied. The largest assets include the 196,300-square-foot Leavesden Park in Watford with a sales price of £55.3 million ($86.3 million), the 140,100-square-foot Discovery Place in Farnborough with a £36.7 million ($57. 3 million) sales price, and the 141,200-square-foot Edinburgh Gate in Harlow with a £26.1 million ($40.7 million). 

Recently, Kennedy Wilson acquired a 61.5 percent interest in U.S.-based Vintage Housing Holdings, a 27-property portfolio, from Winthrop Realty Trustfor approximately £55 million ($86 million). Vintage Housing Holdings owns interests in 30 multifamily properties totaling
