IMT Capital closes its fourth real estate investment fund

IMT Capital has announced the final closing of IMT Capital Fund IV, raising $630 million in equity commitments.

Fund IV will target above average risk-adjusted returns by investing in multifamily assets located in major U.S. markets. The fund’s strategy is to pursue an opportunistic, value-based acquisitions program and employ active operational and physical value-enhancement strategies designed to deliver sound investment returns independent of economic cycles.

IMT Capital Fund III closed in October 2013 with $409 million. It is currently investing in properties. Its portfolio consists of 14 properties, totaling 5,848 units.

IMT Capital Fund II’s investment period began in December 2010 with $350 million of committed capital and was fully invested over a 33-month period. Since inception, Fund II has made investments in multifamily properties in California, Florida and Texas.
