Hines to expand European presence

Hines plans to expand its European real estate presence to new sectors and locations, according to a statement.

The Houston-based investment manager is seeking new development and acquisition opportunities in “recovering” markets in Europe, such as Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain, as well as continuing to build its presence in France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Currently, Hines focuses on retail, office and residential investments, but will be working to expand into other sectors, such as high street retail, logistics, multifamily, student housing and hospitality.
