Edgar Alvarado retires from Allstate Investments

Edgar Alvarado, group head, real estate equity at Allstate Investments, has announced his retirement, effective June 30, after 23 years of service.

Alvarado joined Allstate Investments in 1993 as asset manager, real estate equity and has held numerous positions since then, including leading the real estate equity group since 2006.

Additionally, Alvarado serves on a number of boards including the Board of Directors of the Pension Real Estate Association, Board of Advisors for the University of Wisconsin Graaskamp Center for Real Estate and the Editorial Advisory Board of Institutional Real Estate Americas.
