Colorado pension fund commits $10m to real estate

The $228 million Adams County (Colo.) Retirement Plan has committed $10 million to Harbert Real Estate Fund VI.

The fund is seeking to raise $500 million in equity commitments and will invest in all major property types across the United States.

The Colorado pension fund previously committed $11 million to Harbert United States Real Estate Fund V in 2014. The retirement plan has a 20 percent target allocation to real estate.
