Blackstone raises $478m for Strategic Partners fund

The Blackstone Group has raised $478.1 million for its Strategic Partners Real Estate Fund VI, according to a filing with the SEC.

The fund invests in a mixture of closed-end funds, club funds and joint ventures in the United States. The fund is seeking to raise $750 million.

Blackstone acquired Strategic Partners from Credit Suisse in 2013. Fund V followed a similar strategy to Fund VI, but invested globally.
