Bay Area office buildings change hands

In separate deals, four office properties in the San Francisco Bay Area have been sold.

In San Francisco, Vanbarton Group and a pension fund partner purchased the 25-story, 429,095-square-foot 100 Montgomery St. for $285 million. The seller was Hines. And the nearby office property at 353 Sacramento St. was sold for $169.5 million to KBS Strategic Opportunity REIT. The seller was Pacific Eagle.

Across the Bay Bridge, New York City–based Clarion Partners has acquired the office building located at 1999 Harrison St. in downtown Oakland, Calif., for more than $211 million.
